OLD SAYBROOK MODERN BEACHFRONT

Old Saybrook Beachfront Tear Down & New Construction
The existing beachfront cottage was torn down to make way for this amazing 3,830 sq ft modern home designed by Point One Architects. Foundation consisted of 27 screw piles set to 85’ depth, concrete horizontal beams at grade, and 27 concrete columns raising the first floor to above flood elevation per FEMA building code. The home includes custom milled cedar horizontal siding, and Marvin windows and doors. Interior features include Warmboard radiant floor heat, sleek custom built cabinetry and millwork throughout, glass tiles at kitchen backsplash and baths, modern 5-panel glass interior doors. The bi-fold Nana Wall at the kitchen counter opens to rear deck, which has custom stainless cable railings around the exterior Ipe decks. The whole house automation and Lutron automated shades allows the owners to control every aspect of the homes climate, privacy and security from wherever they may be. This is truly a stunning and notable home.
